Dark Fiber & Aerial Fiber
Dedicated dark fibre pairs and aerial fibre builds for unlimited, private bandwidth between your sites — you light it with your own equipment.
Dark fibre is optical fibre that is not lit by a carrier — you get the glass itself and connect your own optics. Capacity is limited only by the equipment you put on each end, so the same pair that carries 10 Gbps today can carry 400 Gbps tomorrow with no change to the fibre.
Where no fibre exists, aerial fibre — run on poles — is often the fastest and most economical way to build a route, especially across campuses, industrial areas and semi-urban stretches. We survey the route, obtain permissions, build, splice and test it, and keep it maintained.
Where it fits
- Data-centre interconnect and large campus networks
- ISPs extending their backbone or reaching new aggregation points
- Telecom tower and small-cell backhaul
- Enterprises that want full control of capacity and encryption
How we deliver
- Route study: existing fibre availability, distance and loss budget.
- Permissions: right-of-way and pole-attachment approvals.
- Build: aerial or underground laying, joint closures and splicing.
- Acceptance: OTDR traces, loss measurements and as-built route maps.
- Maintenance: patrolling, fault location and restoration teams.
